Plaza Hotel Hammersmith

I have stayed here twice now because it is cheap and in a great location for where I needed to be. Comfortable clean bed. An immaculate bathroom that looked brand new, with a really clean shower that ran nice and hot and with great pressure, which is a rare thing in a cheap hotel! Easy check in and out and the manager is a nice and friendly man. I really appreciated how there was a fan in the room because it was a hot weekend! Fresh towels and room clean every day. Kettle and fridge were a great bonus. I didn't have breakfast as I was on the go, but its an option to have one for free. I have only deducted one star as it does look a little scruffy (but it is clean!) and the rooms are very small, but for one person who was once a student, this doesn't bother me at all, I have lived in worse! This hotel is a great option if you want to see London on a budget, I will come again.

I had a lovely experience at Plaza Hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was basic but had everything that I needed, and the price was really good for the great central location.

Very pleasantly surprised with my one night stay at the Plaza. The receptionists (one for check-in and the other for check-out) couldn't have been nicer people and were both great people. The room itself. Of course, being a two star hotel there was wear and tear but nothing like I'd expected. The linen was great and no signs of wear and tear. Something I must admit I had expected with the hotel being a two star establishment. So yeah a good one night stay. Happily return if working in the area again.

Reception staff went above and beyond to accommodate and were excellent at communicating check in and check out times. Location is great, updated bathroom in room was lovely, staff were very helpful. I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in London on a budget. Great value for money!

Great value for money hotel. The room was simple, but had all needed for a short stay. Simple bed and en-suite. If you want luxury in London, you have to pay for it. Staff were always super friendly and helpful, cannot praise them enough (e.g. allowing me to drop off luggage early in the morning, long before check-in time; carrying my suitcase up to the room; making it possible to stay an additional night in the same room). I like staying in Hammersmith - a short Tube ride into the city centre, but a bit more affordable. From the hotel, if you are fit, it's an easy walk to the tube station (10-15min), if not there are 4 buses to choose from. Restaurants and cafes reasonably close by.

I stayed there for 8 days and I would not want to have it another way. The kitchenstaff is ready before you call her. She makes delicious scrambled eggs. The room small but cozy. I even enjoyed early check-in. Thank you for making my stay memorable

The owner Jay was fantastic, and managed to work around me when I made a mistake in my booking. I was staying here for an interview in the morning, and I was able to leave some bags at the hotel to collect later. Jay was just very accommodating of everything, and I’m sure I will be back in the future! Didn’t have any of the cleanliness issues that other reviews talk about, everything was perfect. The beds were incredibly comfortable for a good nights sleep, although the walls were thin so if you’re a light sleeper you may want to consider ear plugs. This is fairly typical of the building, and didn’t take away from the overall experience.
